For Paper Books: Local libraries, including ebooks; Bookshop.org, which supports a local bookstore of your choice with every purchase; or Better World Books, which is especially good for used books and has a “buy one, give one” business model to give books to kids around the world.
For Audio Books: Local libraries; Libro.fm supports a local bookstore of your choice with each purchase.
For Digital Books: Local libraries and Kobo.
For Podcasts and Music: Both Qobuz and Tidal pay artists far more than Spotify. Many podcasting apps are available. If a podcast is only available on Spotify, use a free subscription to listen.
